Dave and I played together in the band Chicky and the Jumping Jacks.

I also did the plumbing at La Fratta.
I seem to remember him telling me he bought an old Vet and poured a whole bunch of money into it and then found out that it had a $50,000 lien on it.

When I went to UFA I remember a car called Tired Blood. I thought it was real sharp. Burgandy with lakers. Do you know who built the car? Phil Castanovia I think, or maybe or Sam Spatuzzi come to mind.

I worked with Sammy Spatuzzi at Griffiss. Does he still have his cobra? That was a pretty sharp little car. I didn't actually work WITH him. He worked as a driver in the base motorpool and their break room and dispatch was across the hall from my office when I was the transportation officer for the 485th EIG.
I last saw Sam in about 2000 or so. I ran into him walking down the pier at the beach. He was having some serious issues with his back. Has anyone seen him or talked to him recently??

I don't remember the car Tired Blood, so I can't say who built it. That would be one for Dick. I know "Sinister Sam" and Fred Castronovo. I don't remember Sam having a Cobra though. He does have 2 Lotus'. One that he drives and the other with a small block Chevy that he races. I saw him last year at Tucci's once, but that was it.

You are right Mike. My mistake. It's been a long time since I saw him and even longer since he drove the car to work. Is he still around the city and doing well? He was a great guy. He lovedto play tennis also and was a serious "ladies man" haha. We used to call him the Italian Stallion at work. Who knows, it may have been one of those "young debutantes" that wrecked his back, LOLOL! We ain't as young as we used to be.

Yeah, when I last saw him, he seemed to be OK, but I know how the back is, one day you're great and the next 4 you're shot and can't move.

I know all about that also. My back was broken in a fall in 1996 and it eventually forced me into retirement in 2002. Thank God I was retired from Griffiss and was able to survive without working any longer. Sammy is a good guy. Tell him I said hi if ya see him again. Tell him Dick, from the 485th said hi.

When I was in college at MVCC, I dated a girl from Syracuse that also went out with a kid named (pardon my attempt to spell it) Agreekila Tucci. Her name was Sue Austin. He had a corvette. That was in the mid 60's. She just called him "tooch". Would I be correct in assuming that they are all part of the "Tucci Appliances" family?
She used to cruise with him, and drink with me, haha. Hey when ya have a vette, ya don't need a big whatchamacallit is what I always heard. I had neither. I drove a Dodge dart and the other thing? well sshit, probably got beat out there too, hahah.
