Saranac was a lot of fun. I had a blast!
Those men were probably gay or are "whipped" and had no choice but to go with their girlfriends/wives. lol just kidding. but the movie does NOT interest me and I have no intention of watching it just to drool over a bunch of ladies enjoying a ladies' night without their boyfriends.
I'm striking out left and right here. I think it's time to just focus on my career and hope that some nice girl finds me instead.

OOhhh! If I am not mistaken, Lucy is already in a committed relationship'! I could be wrong, LOL.
Hang in there swimmy! There is someone out there waiting for a soulmate such as yourself.
Take it from one who has been through mulitiple marriages and divorces. Seeking marriage simply because it is perceived as a requirement for success, or fulfillment of the status quo will lead to disaster. The lack of a relationship is much less painful than the extreme pain of a failed relationship. Take it from one who has worn the scars as well as inflicted them.
Just a little sage wisdom gleaned from experience. Your mate is out there, and when the time is right, she will come popping out of nowhere, and your hearts will be one.

Thanks, Kim. But I believe Lucy has mentioned she's married and has a family.
Clipper, I'm not seeking marriage because I think it's a requirement for success. I'm just tired of being single. I have so much to give and share, I want someone who will appreciate it to enjoy it. I also don't want to die alone.

You are just a troublemaker! Shame on you Kim! LOLOL! I simply seem to remember reading at one time or another that Lucy had a significant other or husband. I could be wrong! I think you and I should go back to Poppin's Ponderings and argue politics or something, LOLOL! Remember the beach umbrella though. Sun is hot today!

OMG I'm reading all of this laughing! lol.... I am married with a 2yr old little girl. Even though I'm still young me and my husband have been together for 11 years! I met him when I was in high school. Thanks for the laugh! Swimmy the people that say that they don't want marriage haven't found that person that they want to spend the rest of their lives with yet. Swimmy I do have a few single girl friends. ;D

Well swimmy. I do pray for you to find the "right one". I know you were married once before. When one is used to marriage and companionship, it is even harder to be alone again. I fell into that trap and that is all I am telling you not to do. I know it is lonesome, but all one can do is hope and pray, and not pursue it too hard. It is like some girls that can't get pregnant. They do fertility clinics and drugs, and all sorts of different things to get pregnant, and then when they finally give up, they get pregnant out of the clear blue sky. I spent some lonely times, starting over in cheap living spaces, and with next to nothing material wise, but I always bounced back, and living alone is better than living in misery. Haha!
I have an idea that the little matchmaking ladies on Clipper's Busy Corner will not rest until you are married off and happy. We are all quite fond of you my friend, and it especially seems the ladies have taken a shine to you. LOL.

Oh I didn't know you were married once before. Well you know what she wasn't the one, and yes Clipper we won't rest until he has someone. I have a friend that moved to NYC for a different scene, and to find someone to love. Guess what that hasn't happened! It upsets me she is a great person. I told her to find a guy that she feels is attractive and stalk him. lol..... She has a great sense of humor. My husband tells me all the time that I'm lucky that I found him because not too many guys would put up with me they would lock me in a cage and tape my mouth shut! lol... I love him so much! We say those things to eachother all the time. We are realists. lol..... Swimmy if you don't mind me asking are you in your 30's? are you tall, or short? I can introduce you to all my single girl friends. They are in their late 20's. So Clipper are you married now? If not I can look for you too!

Swimmy was married? Really?

Ok, I have to clarify something here. I have never been married. I was in a relationship where I felt strongly enough to buy a ring. As I was pricing rings and trying to find one just right, I learned she was cheating on me. Fortunately, I learned it before I spent the money on the ring. As I look back on the relationship now, I realize that it was a horrible relationship, but no need to delve into the past.
Edit: Maybe too much information, but I'd rather be honest than deceitful.

Ahhhh. Well, I'm glad you clarified that! It's a good thing that you found out before buying the ring and exchanging vows and having kids. You found it in time!
