Jose is finishing a clockwise loop in the western Atlantic Ocean well south of Bermuda. High surf and rip currents will affect the U.S. East Coast, the Bahamas, Bermuda and the north coasts of Puerto Rico and HispaƱola into next week. Rip current risks will increase along the U.S. East Coast through the weekend into early next week. Direct impacts from Jose cannot be completely ruled out along the U.S. East Coast next week. Tropical Storm Jose is completing its clockwise turn and is expected to strengthen into a hurricane by Friday night. Jose will produce dangerous high surf and rip currents as it nears the eastern seaborad next week. A close brush with the U.S. East Coast cannot yet be ruled out next week. (MORE: Hurricane Central)

We can only pray that the possibility is nullified by future turns by the storm. Another Sandy is certainly a fear for all those living along the Northeastern coast.
