No no, ask anyone in congress. We've got to follow the "rule of law", whether it applies to terrorists or not. Lets tie up our courts for a few decades while these scum hire only the best lawyers and thier pundits go on our media to tell us how unfair we are. We are winning the battles but losing the "war" (not Iraq, the overall picture) because we won't do what is needed. Unleash the hounds of Hell on thier asses. Make all of them regret they ever took up arms, or just stood by and let others attack us without standing up to the punks.

As a female who never had to fight in a war, and was lucky enough where both my sons were either too young or too old to be drafted when our country was at war, all I can do now is offer my "opinion".

The USA is a democratic nation with a moral code based on our Constitution. These Middle East nations like Iraq are NOT democratic and we all know they have barbaric codes they believe in based on beliefs that are centuries old.

How can our Nation fight and win the battles against people that believe in beheading, etc? All these people recognize is brute force which results in death.

Instead, we spin our wheels providing them with all the "rights" that OUR Constitution provides for OUR citizens to our enemies that only have one goal in their life and that is it wipe all of us out!

For those of you that are old enough to remember Bill Cosbys comedy routines, look for one called "the coin toss". It unfortunatly accurately describes what we are going through now. Two sides that decide how to fight a war depending on the toss of a coin. Scary how a comedy routine from the late 60's is so accurate today.

In the 8 years between the first bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993 and 9/11/2001, the United States Justice Department arrested, tried and convicted exactly 28 foreign terrorists.

Yesterday, the United States Army killed 31 foreign terrorists in operations in Iraq.

Should we treat them as criminals or should we treat them as enemies?

Lets see, that works out to 3 1/2 terrorists per year, convicted, that are now living off of the American taxpayer or.......
31 we don't have to ever worry about again.

I think you would have to go a long way to get a negative outcome to that poll. Oh wait, CNN, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, they all seem to come up with the results THEY want.

I feel quite fine and have been sleeping quite well knowing the United States Armed Forces are "shelling" out justice for the American people in the streets of Iraq and Afghanistan. Sure beats the overhead mention on this thread previously.
