Santa came to the Frazier's home here in Utica dressed as a police officer today. Some thief went into the Frazier's home and stole all the Christmas gifts grandmother Frazier had bought for her five grandchildren who she is raising. One is a special needs child who Santa had bought a special gift for and the thief took that away. Today the Frazier family got a surprised visit from the UPD with gift cards in hand to replace the stolen gifts. Donation taken out of the Thomas Lindsey Memorial Fund which money is raised by the UPD throughout the year in the many events hold by the UPD. Hats off to all of the UPD whose wonderful gesture made all of us believe Santa is well and comes in many forms. I know Tom is surely smiling down on all his brothers and sisters in blue at the UPD.

What a wonderful act of kindness from the UPD. I watched the story on the news and was just shocked that anyone could stoop so low as to steal Chistmas gifts from someone's house. You are right BZ. Santa does come in many forms. Again I would like to thank the Utica police.

Yes Corner, the UPD is well aware of the problems with some members of the Frazier family but the grandmother, Mrs. Frazier, works very hard to care for her grandchildren and is well respected in the community. Everyone knows she is a woman who always gives to those in need. No one had to steal from her. All they had to do is ask her for help and they would have received it. I'm very happy the UPD is giving back to her to make her grandchildren happy for Christmas.
