Bobbiez, I have some information for you. The Blazers worked at the NCO Club at Griffiss Air Force Base too. Some of the guys in the band were in the Air Force and from other parts of the country. The keyboard player was Eric Blazer. Alex Serway played drums for the band. Eddie Placidi (spelling might be wrong ) might have been in the band at one time. He latter played with a great band called The Sundowners. Little Ray played sax and sang. I remember hearing about the other sax player in the band later being in a national group called John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. His name is Michael "Tune" Antunes. He was a sax player in a movie called Eddie and The Cruisers. It is a great movie and The Beaver Brown Band did the sound track for the movie. Another player by the name Greg Dean might have also played in the band for a while. I never had the pleasure hearing the band but I heard they were great. Some of the info may not be exactly correct but close. I will talk to people who know more about the band in the near future and post what I find out. I hope this helps out a little.

Dino, thanks for the info but other then Little Ray the rest doesn't sound familiar to me. It's either I'm talking about the band in their earlier days or like Jon stated it could be an entirely different band. I've been trying to find out about this band since this subject first started and no one, like me, can remember what their names were. The only member of the group I've heard about is Augie the drummer and he still lives in Rome. I'm hoping when I hear from my sister she will remember. Thanks for trying.

Although the Sundowners originated in the Glens Falls area, they have spent most of their time in Las Vegas, Hollywood and San Francisco. They also took part in the Monkee Concert Tour and have preformed at the Hollywood Bowl and the Miami Auditorium.
"Beach Blanket Bingo" will be shown on the screen and a second group, The Karyn, will also preforn.
The Sundowners consist of George Bianchi, Edmund Brick, Dominie Demieri, Robert Dick, Benny Grammatco and Edwin Placidi. They will also appear at the Village Inn, South Glens Falls, on Sunday night. Both groups are under the the management of Tom D'Angelo of Glens Falls.

Jon, thanks for the info on The Sundowners. They were a fantastic band to hear live. Tony Cee was their Road Manager and knows a lot about them.

Two great websites for listening to 60s bands from all over the world, are 60sgaragebands.com and garagehangover. If you go to the garagehangover site and type in The Counts IV, a picture of Al Peluso shows up. If you go to 60sgaragebands.com and type in The Sundowners a page shows up about them.
