Obviously Midtowner, someone has been picking away at your karma rating. Most likely someone having some fun with you. To smite takes away karma, and to exalt adds to it. I just exalted you so you will have one less negative. It is just a fun thing, and I thus far have paid little attention to it, other than to exalt a few folks that deserved it, or needed it.

Heh, I have this image in my mind of someone sitting pissed off at midtowner, hunched over their keyboard all night long, smiting her every hour on the hour. Imagine their disappointment as they watch her karma slowly and steadily rise despite their valiant efforts.
