The big game is getting ready to begin and I'm on my couch with my blankie and popcorn ready to rout. Now since my beloved NY Yankees are out of the picture who do I rout for? Who will take the Championship? Well, got to go with the team that has never won a World Series and that be the Texas Rangers. Kind of like the name also. Good luck to both the Rangers and Cardinals but.................. "GO RANGERS! ;D

CARDINALS 2011 WORLD CHAMPS! And they deserved to win their 11th world championship. Awesome ball playing. I feel bad for the Rangers but there can only be one winner and it is St Louis. WTG Cardinals!!! Just love watching grown men act like little boys after the win. ;D

Oh well BZ. Now the Rangers can hang up their baseball gloves and cleats and break out their skates and sticks and return to NY for the winter hockey season.

I have never followed sports but my guy is a lifetime Cardinal fan. Not having a TV we have listened to the games on the computer curled up in bed and pretending we were our grandparents whose only source of electric entertainment was a radio. It was incredibly exciting to hear these crazy games and I think I am hooked on the Cards!

Had no ax to grind in the games but did rout for Texas cause of their name but pretty sure hockey ain't their thing coming from Texas. ;D Another reason was they never won a World Series and I was hoping they succeeded this year so I could witness history being made. Just wasn't their time again but they don't have to hang their heads. They played a good season and gave it their all in the playoffs. Just someone had to lose.

It was incredibly exciting to hear these crazy games and I think I am hooked on the Cards! How sweet it is. That's how we kept up with all our sports as I was growing up. Thank God we could afford a radio. My teams for all sports are New York teams and only cause of my dad. He insisted, "ya live in NY then you rout for NY" and I have always done that. Come to think of it the only one in my family that doesn't is my guy, RJ, but what can I expect from a canuck? ;D

Gee, do ya mean that the Texas Rangers aren't the same guys that are the NY Rangers in the winter time? I thought they just changed from bats to skates and hung out in the big apple in the off season from baseball.
