If you die because you were smoking well- to be you- Not my problem Why is our tax money going to this stuff? ""We have found that for the first few months in basic training that military prohibits smoking anyways,"" Yea but what about after that?

IMO, Government should stay out trying to control people's lives. We all know how addictive nicotine is and the warnings about smoking. Contrary to popular belief, smoking does NOT always lead to Death! I started smoking over 50 years ago when I was very young as I thought it was "cool" to do so. For years and years, I was a two pack a day smoker.
Almost 2 years ago, I decided on my own to quit - which I did, and have no desire to go back to smoking ever again. And I'm still alive - Cancer free!

I second that Thelma. I'm still alive, 64 years old, cancer free and still smoking. My choice!

"County legislator Bob Warner believes state funds can now be used to enforce the bill." Well, there's your answer right there. Shit, if you can stand up out of that foxhole and take a bullet, walk by an IED and get a face full or vote for the next President then by God why can't you decide if you want a drink or a smoke? It was good enough during WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, etc. to roll your own and quaff a few or to stay at home and do the same.......ALL while underage, why not now? Not that I am advocating for that to be the norm, but jeez...when do we quit being the worlds "nanny"?!?!?! Yeah, yeah, yeah......I know........because we can.

Hey Todd, I didn't retire to a prison sweetie. I can afford to buy my cancer sticks. Clipper, he's asking you to stand behind him, but I suggest you stand in front of him instead. ;D After all, what are friends for?

I am standing in FRONT of him! Todd, she is good at that rolling thing. She learned long ago, when she had to hold the reins for the buggy horse in one hand and roll bull durham with the other. That is why she can drive a car and roll a blunt with the other hand, haha. She must be smoking SOMETHING in those "store boughts", that is making her high, or she would not even think of taking on such worthy adversaries as you and I!

Sshhhh! Why would I wake up? I am retired! I am taking an afternoon nap before I go bowling!! I need to stay rested to handle Todds light work. After all, he is young and still works for a living. It is the least I can do for a friend! Not only that, but he DID send me a titanium cup to protect me from your errant and irresponsible firing of a side arm.

I'M GETTING BETTER!!!!!! You stick to your sorry a-- bowling and I'll stick to my target practice. We'll see who accomplishes more when we both move back to Utica. ;D I can see the headline news for you now, "Man Injures Intruder With Bowling Ball, Investigation Still Pending," compared to mine, "Woman Shoots and Kills Intruder, No Witness, No Further Details."
