Swimmy - Was the Officer cleared of any charges? What was the outcome of this case despite the raising of the "race card" which is the norm when a criminal is black and he has to face the consequences of his/her actions.

Oh yeah! DeMatteo's! I am no stranger to that place. When I worked at the base, I was there at least once a week for lunch, and often two or three times. Great food and great people running the place. Now That is a hamburger or cheeseburger. I used to love to eat at Bucky's also. They had killer burgers there too!

Ralph, No doubt it's going to hurt. But I'm still young and can take it. Have you seen the 50 cal handgun, no leopard skin on this model but it will definitely make another orifice for her to carry her purse in hahaha.

He was acquitted of any wrongdoing. But that only further infuriated the black community.

Which one Todd? I've only seen the S&W Mag and the 50GI. Either one you'll need a friggin' crane to lift. The recoil would probably destroy what little is left of my shoulder!
Thelma/Swimmy, I was running for office at that time and got kind of wrapped up with some of the community in that event.
They wanted "answers". There were none other than the facts that they didn't seem to want to accept. That being that if you are in a crime ridden neighborhood, in the dark, and remove a gun of any kind and refuse to drop it.........you're going down. My boys had a pellet gun exactly the same as the one he had, from 10 feet away in bad light you can't tell the difference. While I felt for both the family and the Officer involved, I felt the Officer did what he should have done. The bull about shooting in the arm or the leg only happens in Clint Eastwood movies.
In real life it's two to center mass and sort the rest out later, someone has to go home at the end of the day and I would much rather be judged by twelve than carried by six.

I saw the gun. It was interesting to hear some new hartford officers, who were there during one of the press conferences, admit that they were fooled up close. One said that until he held it, he still would not of guess that it was not a real gun.
