I agree with Clipper. Ralph is one of the hardest working and honest people I know. I don't know how he does it either. The worst part (hopefully he doesn't mind me saying this) is that he's also one of the most under utilized people in Utica. He has so much knowledge and talent that if I were Mayor, he'd be the first person I'd be begging to come onboard. And you could probably get him for $40-$50,000 per year and he'd work 10 hours a day. Not like some that get $80,000 per year and stay home. Maybe someone will wake up and see what an asset he could be for this city.

It’s called “work ethic” Larry, and sometimes I wish I didn’t have it. But, if you’re going to do something….DO IT…..do it right the first time and the only time. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t shy away from a six figure salary but why put the burden on other folks just so you have steak every night and drive a Cadillac? I have Caddy’s at my disposal every day of the week and would much rather drive our van. And I‘ll take a couple double cheeseburgers instead of the steak any day. If people just lived and enjoyed themselves within their means instead of trying to make themselves into something they are not, life would be so much easier……and cheaper! Now back off….my head won’t fit out the door and my wife won’t know what to do with me if I spend all day at home!!!  |
