3D is probably not a commie plot, but it may be a socialist plot.

A woman I know has a teen aged daughter who had a grand mal seizure the first time she played a game called "Band" (I think that's it). Apparently the strobe effects in the video caused it. That was a few years ago and I did some research and sent a bunch of stuff around to friends. Many of the run-of-the-mill games now have warnings on them not to watch on a large screen TV along w/ advisement of potential for dangerous reactions to them. Scary! I can't watch games or TV not to mention 3D... They have always made me a bit sick. Thus 20+ years of being TV free. I'm very glad the computer doesn't do that to me though!

I don't think 3D will be so popular as most people don't like having to wear the glasses to view 3D but maybe they will come up with a solution for that too one day.

They have got it now Chris, it is expensive and not as effective at delivering the effect. Its still in its infancy, 5 years from now, 3D glasses will be in ;D

There ya go!!!! I don't care about whether or not it is in surround sound, 3-D or black and white. I don't remember the names of all the actors....mainly because I don't really care about them. I just want to watch the damn movie or play the game for a little entertainment value.

I did read a report that 3D games could be used as a tool to detect "lazy eye" in younger kids earlier than standard methods (don't ask for a source, my brain is still on vacation).
I could see that being developed as a treatment tool. It would take a combination of a creative opthamologist, a game designer and electrical/optical engineering on the hardware.

Smell-a- vision would be nice for all these cooking programs but not so nice for all the detective programs with rioting corpses around.
And I am beginning to hate that Direct TV commercial with that Russian guy and his little giraffe.
