That's true. Bit of a raucous Monday night at the Girls Volleyball game where the A.D. and a teacher created a scene/problem in the stands where there wasn't one. Got a little physical with some kids, and it was totally unjustified. Kaye has stood behind his incompetent A.D. and it has come back to haunt him.
Some say there is a correlation with that and Kaye's retirement announcement. I think it was more like the straw.... and now there is an executive session meeting that was called for Tuesday. (That's where they discuss sensitive issues of a personal nature in a closed session....like requesting people's retirements in lieu of pursuing legal channels). Still investigating the whole thing but...looks bad for at least one of them. Apparently not his 1st strike.

I know that he's been under a lot of pressure for at least the past year to retire. I just assumed he finally decided it was in everyone's best interest for him to quit rather than continue thumbing his nose at everyone.
While this is good news, it could be a double-edged sword depending on who the board decides to replace him with.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard that the teacher's union was thinking about holding a vote of no confidence for him last year.

Kaye wanted leave with pay - about $800.00 a day. The board would not accommodate. This has been a long time coming but the timing is curious to say the least. There was no talk of this until after this weeks meeting. The next day he sent a letter to everyone announcing his retirement, but it was to be confidential. The next day it's in the paper. Amazing how that happens. That's why we should work on creating good Karma. Hey...What did the Buddhist say to the hot dog vendor? Make me one with everything.

Thought's of doing it a while back are true. The devil was in the details. There are some recent additions on the board which have made a difference. Kaye ruled with an iron fist. As people started challenging him, some of his power diminished. They finally saw the man behind the curtain and he wasn't so great and powerful or ALL knowing.
Have you seen the jowls on that guy?
COURAGE !! (or alternative pun - I do, I do, I do believe in ghosts)
