That's nice LO. Simpler is better. Whatever floats your boat. There seem to be several different ways and places that people use to relax and get into a serene mood. Wouldn't it be nice if our country and the world ran the same way? But of course then there wouldn't be much to wail and moan about, would there? A man after my own heart...

When my sister mentioned her own backyard, it made me think of my own home. My own home isn't anything too fancy and I'm not in an "elite" neighborhood ( although it's still nice), but I love my home so much! It has been in my Father's family since 1920, so I guess there's a lot of sentimental value as well. I always feel so relieved and relaxed when I get home, and unlike my Camp, this truly feels like HOME! It is my retreat from the outside world, and while it's nothing spectacular, it does have an Elevator in it! That's been quite a conversational piece over the years! If we make it to 2020, I'll host a huge CC party to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of my house!

Sounds damn good to me. I'll bring the pork steaks and for Dave, the mini cheesecakes. ;D

Time to go to one of my serenity spots. Don't know where yet. I am off to bed and I will be starting a new book. I have 8 new books in there to choose from, so I will have to eeny meeny miney mo and see what book I pick and where it takes me off to, haha. There is nothing more serene than laying in a comfy bed, in the quiet of night, with a good book, just relaxing and reading until either your eyes start to close or the book falls in your face, haha. Nitey nite!
