TMI Jduges. I could have lived out my life, not knowing that ball players pee on their hands. and I thought those satins on the base of the bats was from resin and pine pitch. Remind me to take along a bottle of hand sanitizer if I go to a autograph sigining and get a chance to shake hands with any of them, haha.

Latest stats guys! We have been up and running since Jan 15th. In those 11 days, we have grown to 24 members, have posted 854+ posts on 74 topics. I think we have found a new and better outlet for our discussions and chats. I have a new method to reading and posting. I read over there at the OD homepage, and then I come here to our new page and read and post and discuss over here with less hassle and less restriction. Not much going on over on their forum lately anyhow, and all the major players are on here now. Whoopee! Are we having fun yet?  |

If my counting is correct, we actually have over 100 topics. Somehow the general board has -2 posts, which I think is skewing the actual totals. Not a shabby start.
On top of that there are almost 900 posts.
Kudos! Clipper, I think you have a good thing here!
And I'm noticing many familiar user names crossing over from the dark side. I hope you all enjoy this better forum. :-)

The thing is growing as we speak. That is a wonderful thing. The numbers I quoted were taken from the stats earlier in the day.
My only correction to your post, swimmy is that it is "WE and not "ME" that have a good thing here. I am glad WE have been so successful in keeping our ability to discuss the issues alive without the slanted and biased moderation and censorship.
I would encourage all of us to continue to post on the OD because it is still read by many that do not post here, and is accessible to the general public and readership of the "homepage" readers at the OD.
I will still post on there, when I want an issue to be read by the "general public" or when replying to a post by someone that is not a member on this board, or by the moderator over there.
I don't know if this board has "killed" the OD forum, but it sure has been a ray of sunshine in expanding OUR horizons., LOL.

Frankcor, I just returned from dropping another "shameless plug" on the other board, haha.
I invited the OCPBA and their supporters to bring some of their issues to the board. They have thread on the OD forum that is continuing to bring interest and discussion daily. It is like 18 pages long so far and still drawing interest and new discussion.
Wcup joined us yesterday, and we will welcome the rest of the deputies and supporters if they come. It is a worthwhile issue to support, and discuss, and since we have had such an impact on the other forum, I think it would be great if they brought their issues here to this board for us to be kept aware.
I hope they bring it all for us to discuss and to stay informed of the on-going negotiations. It is a worthwhile cause and I hope we put up another 18 pages of information.

I see the negative count has stopped anyway.
I believe it had to do with my moving of the posts over to the new board sections after I created them.
