it's on the O. D.'s website but not on WKTV's as of Saturday night. If it is true it is good news.

ROFL. The advantages of not being addicted to the tube. I balance my time with reading, the computer, and TV. We are lucky here in Bristol to have two very good TV channels in a market that is not much bigger than the Utica/Rome area and the Valley towns. We also can get news and weather from both on the internet. As far as network programming, they don't carry all that much that interests me anyhow. If I can get the cable news, History Channel, and Discovery, I would be a satisfied customer.

after losing 75000 viewers and several major advertisers im sure ktv got reasonable in their demands Ya know, I would like to think by me calling TM and the many, many other calls they got from their very dissatisfied customers complaining about losing their local channels had something to do with this coming to an end. It sure as hell had to have an effect on TM's decision to negotiate fairly with WKTV and end this crap.

That or the advertisers who lost advertising time pressuring wktv to pull its head out of it's arse... I'm glad wktv finally stopped being stupid and dealt fairly and reasonably instead. It was wktv who decided to pull the signal, not TimeWarner, remember that.

In todays OD they did state, "public pressure from viewers and local officials helped turn the tide in the negotiations." So I have to believe my call and the many others TM received had a lot to do with all this coming to an end. I understand it was WKTV that "pulled the plug" but honestly I have to say if it was my business and TM was not paying my company fairly compared to others I would have done the same thing. But, we'll never know why cause it was also stated in the OD today that the terms agreed upon was confidential and would not be disclosed. I really don't care what they agreed on. I'm one of the ones just happy to have my local channel back. ;D

ktv was originally demanding 3x what the other companies were receiving tws offer was parity with the other company's and ktv stuck their heals in for a signal they heretofore provided at no cost..im no fan of tw but ktv was wrong all the way and it cost them

It's that child-age concept, that if you place blame on someone long enough, everyone, including the wrongfully blamed believe it. I think that was wktv's intent by taking this to the court of public opinion. I see it in family court all the time. The abuser gets to court first and makes the cries for being the victim. But after an investigation into the matter, the perceived victim is actually the aggressor.
