I also love liver and onions. I fry the liver in bacon fat as well. I thing I am getting a craving for liver and onions followed with fruitcake for desert. I got enough fruitcake for at least two months. I wonder how it would taste fried. Have to experiment. Maybe fruitcake french toast!

lol! Good one Alan! Hey, you just might started a new popular fad for fruit cakes and they'll fly off the shelves every year. ;D Let me know how they taste. I just might enjoy the "french toast" bit.

Well I tried to do it but it did not work. I think I need a less dense fruitcake. Fell apart when I soaked it in a egg/milk mixture. So I floured a slice first then placed in milk bath but still did not work. I ques panko bread crumbs are out of the question.
