I guess the moderator on the OD forum is taking an afternoon siesta. I just popped in and lo and behold, there is another spammer on-line. When I looked at the bottom of the page to see who was on-line, sure enough, there is a spammer from the United Arab Emirates, with a "jewelry blogspot" listed in his profile. Hmmmm! And los jibaros was BANNED for saying FART?  Kinda pitiful if ya ask me. LOL |

He was banned for using the word fart in his siggy at the end of his posts. It was really, really unjustified and stupid.
My junk mail box sometimes gets ads for "jewelry auctions". I have never opened them, so I don't know the origin of them, but I would imagine spammers and phishers can get to you through such avenues as the OD forum, if they are not careful in monitoring registrations.

Gee and we haven't had ANY spam, yet! That I know of. Those morons over at the disgrace forums sure know how to crack down on spam with blocking bbcode and a stellar word censor. :-)

I know it is only a matter of time before we have all the same problems that all other boards and pages have, but I am enjoying the peace for now, haha. I am sure we will monitor and delete and ban as quickly as possible. Ralph will have to tell me how to ban them by IP address so that they can't just come back with a different name.
Gee Frankcor, I am overflowing with "wit charm and eloquence", does that make me one of those there spambot things??? LOL (sorry that my charm is so narrowly recognized and widely disputed! Hahaha)

Come on Frank, even frequent flatulation is not a banning offense. Maybe poor LJ has a major problem with gas, and doesn't tolerate fiberous veggies well. I could be all the broccoli and garlic pizza, and a few brews to wash it down.
Actually I was not counting his "farts" but I know they were frequent and not well tolerated on the "other forum". Hundreds huh? Hmmm, could be more of an air quality issue than a censorship issue. LOL

Speaking of farts...I took my son to see the Alvin and the chipmunks movie last weekend. He was kind of bored until one of the chipmunks farted. Then suddenly it was the best movie ever! Ahhhhh, to be a 6 year old boy. LOL!

PS: Frank, my ass is rather small actually. I have all my weight in a large bay window, and not enough ass to hold my jeans up, haha. My better half makes fun of my lack of a butt. My heart however, is bigger than all outdoors, and my love of central NY and it's people is unequalled in size. LOL
