Ya mean the Mets who the Brewers just completed a doubleheader sweep against? Well girl, it ain't over till it's over BUT your Mets do have to win their final four games to avoid a second straight losing season. Not impossible BUT they still have one more game against the Brewers. Not looking good for them.  I'm on a roll cause the Mets are my man's team and he's constantly breaking them on me about the Yankees. It's my turn to gloat. ;D

I may have asked this before, but who the hell are the mets? Is that the farm team that plays in Queens? I think I have heard of them on occasion, but never seem to see much enthusiasm or many followers. I went to the old Shea Stadium many times when I was a bus driver back in the 70's d 80's, and found the baseball so boring from them, that I usually walked to the nearby subway station, bought a couple of hot dogs or a potato knish and went back to the bus for a nap.

lol!!!!!! Can't tell ya how many times I've heard RJ say the same thing about my Yankees, but I'm quick to remind him of what team has the best record in history. That usually shuts him up and most Boston fans also. We do have a couple in the family that sunk that low and are Boston fans. ;D If you're a true fan of your chosen team, then win or lose one, you stay loyal to them. Just look forward to next season, girl.
