Of course we do! All that pomp and pageant ... not the mention the 100 percent pure bullcrap ... will help us to forget the real problems, while we sit back and root for our side and pat each other on our backs and congratulate each other that once again the American way ... just as we were taught in 4th Grade ... wins out and we the people have the power! But we won't be allowed into the convention and we won't ever see any results other than our taxes continuing to climb and and rights evaporating and our children getting poorer. How much ya wanna bet neither Kracker nor I will be allowed to speak on the floor of the Constitutional Convention. Well Griffo is on the band wagon for this and that in and of it self speaks volumes 2ndly a cc could provide an opportunity for politicos especially out of NYC to inflict soome of their most restrictive policies on the rest of us .. I can sse Mayor Bloomberg getting his hands on this and not even the public unions have any where the deep pockets he does..Since he bought the mayorship twice and convinced the NYC council to do away with term limits for mayor...Believe me you dont want this guy grabbing any more power on the state or national level.

Exactly, Corner. And in fact the NY City crowd are the ones to watch and to be extremely wary of. And that was pointed out, I think, the last time a CC came up. This will be worse than gerrymandering, where a party uses the process to get over on the other party. In a Constitutional Convention, instead of one party losing, we may all lose when the politicians use it as PR (that's public relations, not a gentleman from San Juan) and great cover while the felons who run this state scramble for more power.
(Hey .... who took the ladder away from under the pulpit!)
