Wow. Check out the OD picture accompanying the article on the 17 yr old being sentence to 18 to life. That is one bad ass looking cop in the middle. He hasn't gotten any better looking since the last time I saw him.
When he is not wrangling perps, he is always up to a hot coffee and a little good conversation though. Right Bobbbiez?

If you thought you saw a halo around THAT head, you probably were seeing just a ring of frost from plowing snow. No halos for that head, haha. If ya look close ya might see just the faintest hint of a couple of horns where he just shed them for the season.

How very true. ;D You know what bothers me is this kid's lawyer Les Lewis (a piece of sh*t in my book) states the killer "is just a boy" in his eyes. My client got himself in a bad situation. I don't believe he's a bad boy. There's a difference." LIKE WHAT? His client KILLED another 17 yr old over a $5 bag of marijuana. He had in his possession a loaded gun and most likely an illegal gun. Good boys don't carry a gun. Good boys don't kill someone for drugs. Good boys value another's life. As far as I'm concerned 18 yrs to life isn't long enough for this "good boy." Makes me want to vomit and all over Les Lewis!

Ya notice lately the families of the guilty found out, "but he was a good boy" doesn't work anymore or get any sympathy, so now it's, "but he was turning his life around." RIGHT! I'm ready to vomit again.

It is no different than the kid that was killed in Geno's the other night. It is sad, but when your read that kids bio in the paper, HE was no model citizen either. I am sure he was not shot for nothing. Something precipitated the incident. He was turning his life around. I guess with a rap sheet that would fill a loose leaf binder, it would be a damn good idea to turn something around. Too bad it ended the way it did.
I feel sorrier for the family than for the victim. When you run with "wannabes" and gangsters and hang in bars with wannabes and gangsters, in places that foster that kind of atmosphere, your chances are increased of getting shot. Glad I don't drink. I would not want to be going out for a beer anymore with all these dirtbag punks running around with no brains and a large caliber handgun in their pocket.

Swimmy's parents probably ended up paying for it. I sold it to Earl Reed and got a town of New Hartford check in payment. hahaha. I think they were going to put the brooklyn bridge across the Sauquoit Creek somewhere near the arterial ramps.
