FedEx is building a hub here. Big hub. They didn't move the airport, BUT they moved an entire section of highway over to accommodate more runways. Would that happen in the Utica area?

Love the picture Ralph. It looks like Cornhill has reverted to it's agricultural roots. Is that purple colored vegitation the cash crop? Is it lavender or purple sage? Can I return and be a "rider of the purple sage" like in the old movies?? How about the smoking capability of the crop? Maybe it is something that will be legal in ten years and Utica will really thrive!!!
Whether it is for a pot pouri pot, or the bowl on a bong, it sure is pretty.

I imagine by that time that all cash crops such as the purple people potting weed will be controlled by the Lower Mohawk Valley Plant Authority.

Cree is being built hopefully it will prove a positive for the area. SUNY IT has a new name SUNY POLY and a new high tech building. Route 5 s has a new remake in the offering and a new hospital will soon emerge in downtown Utica. Several coffee shops have opened downtown as well as the Urban Street Market with over the top prices that the college kids go hip over. Coffee for %4 bucks who cares! Downtown is a business district and maybe when the new downtown redevelopment takes place that will change. Oh and people actually want to live downtown for rents in the $1000's. Who would have thought.....
