Bravo Concerned! A very astute and " to the point" observation.
While I did not like Ted Kennedy, I am sitting right now watching his funeral mass on TV. I am obviously in the minority. Ted Kennedy may have been morally decrepit in his younger days, but he was a powerful cog in the Democrat machine, and was revered. I am sure that God has forgiven his indescretions, and he has made amends for them, as he has fogiven my own.
Without Ted Kennedy, I truly believe that Obama would never have become president. For someone that is not an Obama fan, It is with scorn that I look upon those that were taken in by the rhetoric and voted for him. We are seeing "change". How do we like it so far?? My personal take on this whole thing is to hope that the Obama presidency is NOT saved and he is NOT re-elected, and his agenda is NOT allowed to come to fruition.
While he is an extremely intelligent man, he is in too much of a hurry to push through his agenda without regard for the desire of the average American voter or citizen. He seems to be narrowly focused on rushing his agenda into law without regard for negotiation or long term consequences.
