Thanks Dave. Mabye I will after I move. I like the graphic, only my mother didn't drink tea, her arms were a lot bigger, she had flaming red hair and she smoked Luckies, which hung from her lower lip like some kind of totemic fetish. Stories, I got a million more.

Ah yes, Lucky Strikes. I remember smoking them and camels when I was in Viet Nam in the Navy. I used to get up in the morning and cough up crud that looked like road tar. Boy I sure miss THAT! I can remember my mom, many years ago, sitting at the table reading the newspaper with a cigarette dangling from her lip, and one eye squinted against the smoke, haha. Not exactly my most ladylike memory of my mom, but it was not unusual in those days. I smoked for 45 years, and I sure don't miss the sinus problems, the crappy taste in my mouth in the morning, and the smell on everything I owned. I am not bothered by other people smoking, and the only time it bothers is if they leave one burning in an ashtray and it is wafting up in my face. I am one of the unpopular folks that condones the no smoking laws in public places and restaurants. I guess it is because I smoked for several years after the federal government stopped allowing us to smoke inside the buildings at the base, and I had to go outside to have my after lunch cigarette. It didn't kill me, and it made the office one hell of a lot fresher smelling.

Envisioning Fiona's mom or my mother with a cigarette hanging from their lip, just reminds me of a time when both men and women had a cigarette hanging from their mouth most of the day, including myself.
I guess I was just reminiscing about those days gone by when ashtrays were everywhere, and everyone smoked, with many simply lighting a cigarette and letting it hang from their lip while they smoked.
Sorry to hijack the thread, LOL
