“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” Arthur C. Clarke’s ‘Third Law’ in his book Profiles Of The Future: An Inquiry Into The Limits Of The Possible. Very nice layout of articles on Sir Arthur and technology on the web site of LMD, The Lanka Monthly Digest, Sri Lanka’s major business magazine. Start with “Sarongs to Satellites” and continue in a circle of articles and photos. Arthur C. Clarke, author of `2001: A Space Odyssey,' died at 90 yesterday. www.lmd.lk/2005/May/cov3.htm

WOW!!! What a loss, but no one lives forever. T'was a wonderful ride he took us all on over his lifetime. He will be missed.

God rest his soul. May he finally get to see space for real now.
