Here is the car that My Dad and Pete French were building when he had his heart attack (reply #61) in the photo are Pete, Peter Orsaio and my Dad. Later, Pete restored the car and it was the front cover of CAMARO MAGAZINE.

Yes ... the way i remember it........this car was stolen...insurance company recovered it with no motor or tranny..... a Super Sport model withIi think only 1,300 or 1700 miles on it!!! We bought in...dad got sick and Pete bought us out and finished the car.

I can't tell for certain but I have to presume those carburetors are sitting on top of the hood and not poking through it?

that was the setup we were going to run with on a 396 block with the good 427 heads. We also had 4-5 different sponsors for the car. We planned to run the same class as Joe DePerno's Rat Chevelle.

Got to talk with George Barris tonight. (Batmobile, Monkee Mobile, Munster Coach, ect). He's a pretty cool guy. Can't wait to talk with him face to face in Vegas in a couple weeks!
