'Memories Are Made of This' for my birthday. Might be good memories, might be nightmares. Who knows?

The Old Lamplighter by Sammy Kaye was number one on the day I was born.
Dave, I just recently saw a Mills Bros. special on PBS. I love Paper Doll, in fact I love all the Mills Bros. music.
Those were the days when music was something to relax to or dance to. haha. (relax and dance have both changed in definition in late years, LOL)

'Memories Are Made of This' for my birthday. Might be good memories, might be nightmares. Who knows? Wiki: The most popular version of the song was recorded by Dean Martin. It reached #1 on the Billboard chart for six weeks in 1956, and became his biggest hit. He was backed by The Easy Riders, who wrote it.

Dave, it's funny you mentioned "twins" because they ran in my family big time. Hey "Bro", one never really knows. ;D

"I'm a believer" by the Monkees for me. I read that the Monkees were actors and not serious musicians. I'n not even sure all of them were singers. Their records were made by others, at least the instrumentation. But Wiki says: 'At the start, the band members provided vocals, and were given some performing and production opportunities, but they eventually fought for and earned the right to collectively supervise all musical output under the band's name. The group undertook several concert tours, allowing an opportunity to perform as a live band as well as on the TV series. When the show was cancelled in 1968, the band continued releasing records until 1971. In the 1980s, the television show and music experienced a revival, which led to a series of reunion tours, and new records featuring various incarnations of the band's lineup. I know nothing about Blondie. I had turned off the radio by then.
