lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Clipper, you're being doubled-tagged! Got BB on the landline and she agrees that the Devils were just as good as the Clinton Comets if not better. ;D

LOLOLOL. Did "I push a button??"
You are comparing oranges and apples. NO team that has played in Utica in the last few years charges $45 a ticket for "general admission", and I STILL watch minor league baseball here in Bristol and Johnson City, and the tickets are $6.
But more important than that, is this. I DON'T watch hockey, and don't give a shit about hockey. I only come on this thread once in a month or so to bust your chops, rattle your cage and keep YOUR thread going, LOLOL.
We have NASCAR here in Bristol. Hell no, people can't afford to take a car load of kids to that either, but they sell out 160 thousand seats. Tickets for just the cup race alone, start at over $100, and there are usually 3 or 4 events during race week.
I was talking about the sports teams that have called Uitica home. The devils were a really second rate team, and mostly losers and has beens, combined with some young guys that would have played for a buck a game. Hell, I love Dicky Popeil to death, but he has long since lost the edge to play Stanley Cup level Hockey.
I stand my my statement that Utica doesn't support good sports teams and they starve them out of busniness. Therefore GOOD sports teams don't call Utica home. Amateur hockey is probably as much fun to watch anyhow, but UTICA IS NOT GOING TO LAND A MAJOR PROFESSIONAL HOCKEY FRANCHISE. Other than YOUR police game, and Utica College sports, the Aud doesn't fill up for events very damn often anymore, unless the Jehova's Witnesses still use if for their big rally.
Do you see anything there to disagree with or argue about? I don't. Hell, ya have to go to NH to watch a movie. Utica doesn't even have a movie theater anymore. Utica DOESN'T support anything enough for it to be able to thrive. I love Utica, but the sad truth is quite evident. If they did support pro sports, pro sports would still be played there. Period. I have scratched my head trying to figure out why that is true for years, but it IS true.
Have a good night kiddo. Gotcha goin, LOL. Say hi to the other canuck, smart enough to sit and watch hockey and not put on skates to get his face busted and ribs broke. If I was meant to be a hockey player, God would have made me with blades on my feet.

Tell BB to register and bust my chops on here like you do. Haha. And the Devils were only a minor league part of a bigger organization, and Utica couldn't hold onto that franchise either.
Seriously, tell Fran I said Hi. I am glad you still keep in touch with her. She is just like you are. I am sure she is still beautiful, and probably just as stubborn as you are, although that would be hard to do, hahaha. It is neat that we have Sarge, Willum, Scarecrow, and all the old crew on here. I love it.
Heck sunshine, they left because they couldn't sell enough tickets, and their tickets were not that expensive. (and the manager or owner or whatever, was a real ass)

Think what you want my friend but when management screws up with all their demands and not because of ticket sales, it's the city and the people who lose out. I stand by what I say also. Utica and the surrounding areas are big sport supporters producing many great players from our area in all pro sports. That's all the PROOF I need. ;D

Nobody ever said that Utica didn't PRODUCE great players, like Cash and others, and I give up. YOU are a sports supporter, but it is obvious that there are not enough of you to keep a team in the city, so I will just drop it.
I have to get off of here and go to bed. I had t to be up early this morning to take the dog to the vet for her Zackly disease. Her breath smelled zackly like her ass, haha. Had to finally get her teeth cleaned. We got canceled because of the big one inch snow storm last week and had to reschedule.
Say hi to RJ. Have a good night. luv you guys.

lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn look whose calling the kettle black again. ;D Being stubborn is one of your best qualities my friend and I do enjoy pushing your buttons, because you're easy. ;D Hey, just think how bored you'd be if I agreed with you all the time. The other Canuck sends his regards. He said not only doesn't he even know how to skate. He never watched hockey till he met me. Some kind of Canucks you guys make. BB and I just hooked up after many years of losing touch with each other. Actually it was because of Ralph that it all happened. Anyways, Fran and I chatted for about an hour tonight and caught up on many things. She hasn't changed and is still just as crazy as ever. We are making plans to get together as soon as our schedules allows us to. Can't wait. Just love that girl.

Yeah, I watched that game. I also watched Friday when they lost to Florida (OT shootout!) and Sunday's loss to the Flyers. Goaltending has been pretty good but they're just not putting it in the net.

Well, they're not to me. One thing I've learned about all NY teams. Don't give up on them because they just might prove us wrong (once in a while). I am a fan of all NY teams win or lose. I get a mother's instinct when it comes to them. I can yell, complain and curse at them but God help anyone else that does. "GO NEW YORK!!!!!!!!!!!"
