With their candidate leading the polls in the presidential race, Democratic leaders say they hope to gain in the Senate, too. The party is gunning for the "magic 60" -- the number of seats they'd need to have a filibuster-proof majority.

I'm curious -- when was the last time the same party controlled the White House and both houses of Congress with a veto/filibuster-proof majority?
