Maybe I'll vote for Ron Paul. He will dismantle all of the goverment, and then there won't be anyone to take care of us. Maybe we'll have to take care of each other, like we used to (or didn't).

Although this is entertaining. The views of their parents really scare me. This whole election scares me and to think where the world is headed.

It's only scary if McCain wins.
Seriously, if he had run against Bush, I would have voted for him. I might have even voted for him against Kerry, but I don't know for sure. Right now, though, Obama is the best person for the job, in my opinion. And that's all I'm going to say about that, because, unlike on my blog where Clipper is the sole McCain supporter, I'm pretty sure I'll be outnumbered here. But the the thought of McCain winning does scare the hell out of me. Even more than that, the thought of him dying in office, which could happen as he is older and has had health problems, and Palin becoming president, scares me even more! I certainly don't want THAT! Scary, scary, scary. And I really don't understand why anyone making under $100,000 a year would vote for McCain. He won't do a thing for you...you're not rich enough.
Ok, that's all I"m saying. Carry on. ;-)

Sometimes I think: What's so scary? One member of the elite, moneyed clique that runs America running against another. Either will do, once advised and limited in his or her function. At other times I think: There seems to be a whole class of people (liberals) that simply doesn't get it. That doesn't seem to appreciate there are a lot of haters in the world. That doesn't understand the concept of strength won't necessarily include bonhomie and that we don't have to be liked to to be a successful nation. Especially by Europeans who will forever resent us for saving their ass. (The folks we bombed actually like us better than the ingrates we saved.)

I don't understand the repeated use of the word "scared" by people on both sides. I reserve "scared" for times like when someone is shooting at me.
Our nation of 300-million people will go on in its current direction regardless of who wins. I think we demonstrated that in Nixon's 2nd term when we went almost 4 years without even having a president. There's just too much inertia.
What direction is that? Just take a look at Europe. They're about 25 years ahead of us. They have lost their moral compass and are losing their cultural identity next.
But we'll still move on. 300-million strong. Even when we fall into despotism. God bless America.

Dave, the punctuation contained in the images you attach is far stronger than any exclamation point. Nicely said.
