What's everyone gonna watch this year? I've started watching Dancing with the Stars. Survivor and Grey's Anatomy starts tonight. I'm looking forward to Private Practice and The Starter Wife to start too. I've been taping the last season of The Shield. Waiting on Rescue Me to start up again. I kind of like Samantha Who as well. I taped Knight Rider, but haven't watched it yet to determine if I'll keep watching.

I watched Survivor. I always watch Survivor. The only person I like so far this season is the physics teacher. The rest seem like idiots.

Oh, and I saw some of Knight Rider. Eh. I liked it better in the 80's with David Hasselhoff. I had such a crush on him back then!

My wife likes Grey's Anatomy. I've seen snippets of it as I drift through the family room on my way somewhere. To say I don't like the show would be terribly understated. I absolutely hate it. First, I can't understand why anyone would enjoy a hospital show with everyone sick and dying (although I did like ER years ago, and might still if I hadn't tired of the premise. I don't know why, maybe the characters.) Grey's anatomy presents teenage themes, teenage problems, teenage dialog, but with actors in adult bodies. The show must be a winner with adolescents who want to be adults. Or adults who want to be adolescents.

I watched ER last night. It was sad to see Dr. Pratt die and the impact it had on the others in the ER. It is the only hospital show I have ever been able to take interest in, and then it was not a sincerely deep, "cannot miss it" interest.
I hate Grey's Anatomy, and I also think Scrubs is a ridiculous waste of time, and some sorry assed attempt at comedy.
I guess I am more into movies, discovery channel, history channel, HGTV, and cable news ( however biased it may be).
Sitcoms have not turned me on in years. The last sitcom that I truly enjoyed was the one with Archie Bunker. His political incrorrectness cracked me up.
I do find a balance between sheer entertainment, and feeding my mind things that productively expand my knowledge. I simply find things like "Made In America" and "Dirty Jobs" along with a dose of History Channel to be more interesting to my particular tastes.

But I still like to watch the show. My favorite shows are Burn Notice and 24. I have to wait until January for those. In the mean time, I watched Knight Rider season premier and I enjoyed it. I like the darker themes and the more adult storyline. My other big favorites are Ghost Whisperer (not just because JLH is the star), Numb3rs, and Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles. I haven't been watching too much DWTS, though I did watch the last episode online.

I have to say I love Greys Anatomy, sorry. I watched it last night and enjoyed it. And then Sunday I can watch Desperate Housewives.

I do enjoy American Idol, and America's Got Talent. We also watch the Ghost Whisperer. Kathy controls the remote all too often and I am stuck watching Golden Girls, and Ellen DeGeneres, haha. I do take the remote from 5 til 8 so I can watch local news, national news, and then wheel and jeopardy.
All the good movies have been moved strategically to the upper channels where you have to subscribe to the premium channels. I got sick of paying the price to watch all the movies on HBO and Cinemax in the first week of the month and then not seeing anything new until the following month.
