I love it!! I think that it is simply an occupational hazard of being a cop. I remember large jars of pickled eggs behind the bar, that when mixed with beer, made a lethal methane mixture that would blister the paint on the police station walls. The very idea that it is battery on a police officer to fart on him, is ridiculous. LOL.

I'm glad that Kathy simply bitches, and opens a window or kicks me in the pokes me in the ribs if I am sleeping in the bed. She has never called the cops and charged me with assault yet. I am keeping this thread secret, and I didn't let her see it in the local paper either. I could be a repeat offender. Maybe even a three strikes and you are out type offender and be doing life.

If I remember correctly, you spoke out valiantly in favor of the freedom to flatulate. You were a courageous and dedicated crusader for gaseous emissions in general, and specifically for methane release by humans with digestive discomfort.
But then again, I could be wrong. LOL

His references to flatulence was what resulted in the birth of Clippers Busy Corner. Unfortunately the individual pushing of the limits, had a penchant for testing the waters and pushing the limits and quickly tested the solidarity of our staff and ended up gone from here also.
The rules of the forum preclude delving into the matter long past, any further than I already have. It was a learning experience for me, and an early growing pain for the forum as a whole. Thanks to Kim and Ralph, and their experience with moderating such a board, we survived, and still muddle along.
As a hard headed and opinionated old fart, I still screw up now and again, as hard as I try not to rock the boat.
I still worry from time to time, when folks aren't posting, if possibly we have offended them in some manner, and I still feel a strong responsibility to the membership, and don't always make the correct decisions in trying to protect the majority, but we try and we love this forum, EVEN IF IT BEGAN AS A FART ON THE OD FORUMS!
