I went to a funeral yesterday and the pews were so hard that after sitting for over an hour and standing at the grave in the cold and dam I ended up at the chiropractor this morning. Have to be straightened up and ready to bowl tonight, haha!  My new generator is supposed to be delivered today. Probably "some assembly required." I have a Wen thickness planer and a Wen scroll saw in my shop and they are very high quality. I can't believe the price on the generator. MUCH less expensive than some of the other brands charge for units with less wattage available. It was just 32 degrees here this morning. The dog went about 10 feet from the gate, peed and ran back to the back door. lol |

Enjoy your new toys. We are expected to have widespread frost early in morning then the weather clears and it is supposed to get a little warmer. The little dog I had used to do the same thing except he would stop just before going out the door as if he was thinking do I really have to pee!!!!

I planned on getting my snowblower ready tomorrow for winter so I don't have to do it in the freezing cold but instead I have to mow the lawn which needs it big time.

I need to get the bagger on my mower and start picking up leaves. I got rid of some of the nuisance trees but I still have a few big trees that are dropping their leaves.
The generator didn't come today. I checked the tracking. It came out of California and was in Murfreesboro TN, out near Nashville. Hopefully it is rolling east on I-40 as I type and will come out of Knoxville in the morning and get here tomorrow.
I was supposed to bowl tonight but getting both the heavy dose flu vaccine in one arm and Moderna covid vaccine in the other kicked my butt, at supper time I was running a fever and felt like crap. I took some Tylenol and it was back down to normal and I feel better than I did. Lesson learned. I won't get them both at the same time again. The VA is giving veterans over 65 a heavier dose of the vaccine this year.

I also got my flu shot today at Rite Aid. I meant to ask the tech if it was the senior vaccine but I forgot to ask. I made an appt so they must have my info on file because they didn't ask for my Medicare card. I took the shot in my right arm because I have a bit of tendinitis in my right deltoid. Doc wanted me to go to therapy (physical, not mental) but I declined. It's been bothering me for a couple months but I'm not going to therpy 3 x a week to do a few exercises that I can do at home. I get enough exercise keeping busy around here as it is.

I also got my flu shot today at Rite Aid. I meant to ask the tech if it was the senior vaccine but I forgot to ask. I made an appt so they must have my info on file because they didn't ask for my Medicare card. I took the shot in my right arm because I have a bit of tendinitis in my right deltoid. I get enough exercise keeping busy around here as it is. I am fine this morning, thank goodness. I haven't been felt that bad in quite some time but that reaction to the shot really left me feeling lousy last night. It was only 31 here when I got up at 8 o'clock. I took Nyquil last night and slept like a corpse for 8 hours, only getting up once during the night. It is going to 68 degrees by noon and I have plenty of work to do outside today. |

I still have to have the RSV shot but they told me to wait a couple of weeks or so before I get it. I am heading out to vote shortly. Get it done and over with so I won't be caught up in the chaotic election day crowds. Hopefully the line won't be as long as it was the last two days.

I did a little reserarch & from what saw online RSV is a single shot & you don't need to get it annually. I was wondering about that myself, but you might want to check with your Dr. There are so many vaccines out there now especially if you're over 60 it's hard to keep track of them all. |

I thought the RSV shot was for Seniors but a flu shot and you need to get a flu shot every year. Let me check MyChart to see if there is anthing in there. |

I was also told to wait a couple weeks.I got my Flu shot and COVID boaster a week ago.I vote by absentee ballot walking up to the new polling place each year would kill me so that means a lost vote so they allowed absentee. Now I have to bring it down to the mailbox outside the entrance.I haven't got my portable oxygen yet and I get short winded good thing I have a 25 foot oxygen tubing to my concentrator or I would be in trouble. |
