Frank - Between the BOTH of us, no drug dealer stands a chance if they move into our neighborhood!!!!!!
Seriously, about 8 years ago, when I was living at Parkedge Townhouses which I loved as mgm't was very strict about noise and the type of people they allowed to live there - we believed that there was a drug dealer living in one of the 2 bedroom apartments.
This apartment was right across the street from where my daughter and 3 GDs lived and they were small at the time and playing outside during the day and early evenings. This is what worried me as all I could see was a drive by shooting going down and injuring/killing one of my GD. So - I called UPD and told them about all the traffic this one apartment was getting; both day and night.
About a month later, the 2 young men that had been renting this apartment "disappeared" in the middle of the night leaving behind all their furniture (rented) and garbage - never to be seen again.

Thanks Frank and Swimmy - you now have given me something else to think about as I thought they just moved out to avoid the "heat" from the Police.
All I cared about was that they were finally gone! I could have cared less who or what made them leave - LOL.

lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hey Frank, I am in charge of my Neighborhood Watch Group. In fact the sign is right in front of my house. I do want the undesirables who move into my hood to know their stay is short lived. "Why is everyone always picking on me" because Frank you're always getting yourself in trouble. You better stop hanging with a "certain" someone on this forum. He definitely is a very bad influence on your sweet a--! ;D

Todd, with my pleasure ;D. Just tell him the lady that told him numerous times, as he would walk up my street (in the road) passed my house, "that I was looking at a future inmate" sends her love.

Hi Thelma, thank you. I'm positive it ain't over with but at least we got this scumbag and he will be gone for quite awhile. ;D My next step, which many will be shocked at, is getting together with certain Police departments and getting things straightened out there also. Thelma, you know how much I am involved with the Police dept.(and for personal reasons to) and I do all that a private citizen is capable of doing to assist them in many ways. I even attended the Citizen's Police Academy to learn more about what they face on the streets and their procedures and the laws they have to adhere to, but I am very upset concerning this crack house. NO WAY should this crack house have been in a neighborhood that long after it was reported by many for so long. I am "very" informed (by personal reasons to) and know their procedures in setting up a bust or an arrest. The length of time it took to bust this guy was totally uncalled for and put the lives of all around him in our neighborhood in grave danger to the point where all kept their children inside of their homes for quite awhile. No playing outside for these kids. One drive by shooting or whatever and it would have been all over for them. It took me going through THREE divisions to finally get things done. Things have got to change in getting down on these dealer and believe me I will be the one fighting them and the proper departments who should be doing it. This one really pissed me off and there will be no excuse to justify why it didn't happen sooner. Told you Thelma, if I have to have enemies on both sides, then so be it. I'm ready for both.

Frank, I couldn't use the Codes department this time even though I have worked with them in the past for other crack houses. Sometimes, just another way I've learned, a legal way to get rid of the dealers. This out of town absentee landlord bought the property and fixed it up looking mighty nice. I was in great hopes by him doing all this work that another decent house on my street would improve things. How wrong I was. His very first tenant was this dealer. I am very suspicious that this landlord is involved in drugs also. Only because when I approached him before anyone moved into his property to commend him on his work, he told me he had a good tenant moving in shorty. Now, you ask why I have my suspicions. Well, because when I asked him how he knew the tenants moving in, he stated he rented to them in Jersey and was very pleased with them. Hey, my light bulb never goes out and I believe he is all part of it. So, I couldn't use the Codes department in this one situation. Believe me, I wouldn't hesitate to use them if it was warranted. I'm sure my name is a household word in their department also and it might not always be said in a nice fashion but "oh well!"

bobbbieez - I know you pride yourself that you are not afraid of anyone or anything and you are a highly independant woman -BUT- I still worry about you.
Please keep my "motherly instinct" calm and watch your back. There are "bad guys" in places you might not even know about.
I will continue to say a prayer every night for your safety.

Thanks Thelma, I do know what I deal with and am aware of more then I let on and that is for my own protection at times, but at this point in my life I really don't give a sh-t. Fear is a terrible thing and it allows alot of wrong take place happening in this world and I'm pass that stage. Even if one doesn't act there will always be danger in our lives on a daily basis and for those that don't act they will be caught right up in it without a fight. Either way, you are screwed. Me, I just soon go down with a fight. I have to laugh at all that say, "just move." Now you tell me where I should move to? You tell me where anyone is that safe. No such place. Even the best of neighborhoods are inhabited by the scum. Remember what I told you about one of my sons and the beautiful neighborhood he lives in and remember what I told you who moved into it. That is one of my sons that "use" to stone me about moving out of my hood and he's the one who told his sister, "don't tell Mom about my new neighbor or I'll never hear the end of it." He doesn't stone me any more. Too many think it can't happen in their beautiful neighborhoods. Boy, is their heads in the sand and I watch it all the time after they move out of the city and the city scum sooner or later move in right alone with them. My sister just went through that. You said it before in one of your past posts. "It's like a disease." Well, it is a disease that is growing faster then any cancer ever did. For one minute don't think just because your neighborhood has maybe a cop, Judge, or any other in a higher position does that make a difference to the scum. Example, my son's case. I've told you who lives there along with my son. You can't get much higher then that but it didn't stop the scum for moving in. Too many think it's just a city problem and that is so far from the truth. "Everyone" better start to work together inside and outside the city lines or the war is lost. It shouldn't have to be in your own neighborhood for all to get involved. You wait for that and there is a bright side for me. I'll have gotten rid of the scum in my neighborhood and now you'll have them in your back yard. Thanks again MOM, I very much appreciate your concern but I am watching my own back and will, because you won't let up on me, continue to do so.
