Yup, up at 7am, first cup of coffee, took the dog out, cooked breakfast, grabbed a quick splash through the rain locker and a nice hot lather shave. Old folks Monday itinerary. Kathy to the doctor at 1pm, then to pick up her prescriptions. Then it is my turn. My doctor at 3pm to get a prescription for a sinus infection. If we hurry we can make the senior special at Golden Corral before stopping at Lincare for nasal cannulas for Kathy. Hit the pharmacy on the way home for my prescription, then home to our recliners. This old people routine is quite tiring, lol.

Now that is a lot to accomplish in one day. If I did that by Bus it would take 3 to 4 days!!!!!

Ha! I concur with your typical old people Monday! This is my morning: wake up, jam feet into old funky smelly house slippers, grope for eye glasses, check phone, bathroom run, check cat boxes, feed cat, put on kettle, have tea, check face book, feed cat some more, wash up, groom cat, make phone calls, check purse for money...where do I have to go today? check calender, comb hair, put on makeup, oh my God: it's noon! Gotta run to the store, out to lunch, this and that, ask waitress to move table because the people behind me, next to me, in front of me are all having " organ recitals", obsessed with there bodily functions, there illnesses, and I don't want to hear it. Eat lunch. Too salty. Go to visit my daughter, she is depressed again. I don't blame her. I would be too. Go to store. Buy more cat food.

I never wear slippers since for some reason my left foot does not want to go in the direction of the slipper on that foot. So it goes sideways!!!! Crazy right. Anyway never owned a cat not to fond of them. Had a small dog lots of work and at my age I now have a mechanical doggie. No mess no fuss and it even walks. His name is Thor!

When a person walks a live dog they usually carry a small bag to contain the poop that they pick up after the dog goes. When you walk a mechanical dog do you carry a bag of speedy dry and a whisk broom to sweep up the absorbent when he lifts a leg and squirts machine oil on someone's bushes? Just curious.

We have a dog, a Yorkie mix who thinks I'm her mattress because she's always in my lap. So I guess that's what I am.

Our Chihuahua Lays snuggled up against me in my recliner. When I replaced the recliner a couple years ago I shopped until I found one with a wider seat so she has room to curl up in a little circle between my leg and the arm of the chair.

I have a ten pound lilac Maine Coon, she's extremely smart and sometimes naughty. Her name is Murder Mittens. All my cat's have been abandended by there owners.
