Oh that Roscoe was definitely a rascal, wasn't he? Am not sure if there's any connection, but in the Amazon Prime TV series "Reacher" (1st season) there's a young female deputy sheriff named Roscoe Conklin (no 'g' on the end) played by Willa Fitzgerald. Season 1 was definitely a great 8 episodes.
