Enjoying my favorite channel on Alexa. Just signed up for SiriusXM from an ad I saw for a promo on FB. I love listening to watercolours channel…its a smooth jazz station. (If your thinking of getting it beware. i signed up for an ad that said 3 months free trial then 7.99 a month. As soon as I downloaded my ap etc went back to FB and another ad came floating by saying 3 months free then 4.99 for 12months. So I contacted cust serv and they switched me to the better deal) My car doesnt have satellite radio but I could use my phone, ipad, tv to stream. Looks like they expanded or improved the streaming. A few years back my only option was from my computer.

We have Sirius XM in the car and love it. I think it costs me something like $39 every 6 months. It is well worth it in my estimation. I listen to Sirius and one local FM talk radio station most of the time. We have had it in our last three vehicles. I wouldn't know what to do if I couldn't turn to 50's Gold, Big Band, the Sinatra station, or Willie's Roadhouse country music. I love being able to simply push the button on the wheel and tell Siri to tune to whatever genre I happen to want to listen to at the time. I will have to look into streaming it to our TV or my Ipad.

There is a radio station here that plays Polish music and after their show they play all Frank Sinatra on the weekend. Its out of Buffalo.

We had 60s Gold on the radio for our trip back. All day yesterday they were playing the results of a voting contest rating One Hit Wonders of the 60's. Unfortunately we got home long before they played whichever song had been rated #1.

I never knew tha you could stream Sirius on a tablet. I'll have to look into that. Wish had it in my truck. Our local radio stations leave a lot to be desired playing the same set list over & over again for the past 30 years, so I rarely bother to tune in.

We have a local station that I am not sure if it is still around but they play Italian music i think on Sundays. I am never up early on Sundays so forgot the channel number.

I can't remember the name of the Italian music program. I didn't listen to that program, but there was also a Polish music program on Sunday mornings that I occasionally listened to. I think it was hosted by Ed Slusarczyk. There isn't a drop of Polish blood in my body, but I have always loved Polka music and still do.
I drove a local Polish group to Hunter Mountain a few times for a Polish festival with nationally known bands playing. I got to meet Bobby Vinton one year.
As usual for me, as I reminisced about the trips to Hunter Mountain Polka Fest I remembered a not so pleasant event that put me in a bad spot and forced me to rat out a fellow driver, resulting in his firing. The Utica group chartered two buses for the festival. While I was listening to the music with my group, a person from the other driver's group came to me to tell me that their driver was drunk. That driver had been known to have a drink or beer with a meal while on the clock. It was a warm day and he had managed to get pretty intoxicated. I found him under a tree in the shade, still drinking a beer. He was slurring his words and unsteady on his feet while he told me that he was fine and just tired.
I called our office and reported what was going on and the owner brought another driver, arriving in a timely fashion just as the festival was ending, and drove the drunk driver back to Utica in the company car. The driver was a friend and as a result never spoke to me again, but I didn't have a choice. I couldn't let an intoxicated driver get behind the wheel of a bus carrying 49 people.

I know you like Polish music. I also am a big Polka music fan. I ran across a link a few weeks ago where you can stream Polish programs and music. tunein.com/radio/Stream-Polish-Music-g157/I have yet to try the free trial.

I signed up for Sirius & downloaded it onto my tablet. Other then the Howard Stern interviews I am not impressed. I'm not sure I'm going to keep it, I'll have to look into it further. But as far as streaming music is concerned I think Amazon's is a much better deal. Just my $.02.

My car isnt satellite radio so only way I could listen in the car is use the phone with an adapter it plays thru your car speakers. Any device that you can download the app to. My roku played it too on my tv.
