Rain stopped but I receive the emails that have the alert for raw sewage pouring into the Mohawk River and boy thousands of gallons were flushed into the river today. I should have saved them place on here.

Additional information: The discharge occurs when wet weather or snow melt exceeds the capacity of the pumping station. When this occurs, a valve is opened sending dilute wastewater to the Mohawk River. This prevents flooding of the pump station and basements in the Villages of Yorkville and Whitesboro.
