Radio Taiwan International (9670 KHz.) is running a story tonight that says the government has asked citizens to forgo the usual barbecues over the upcoming "mid autumn holiday." Government experts say that all the barbeque smoke lowers the air quality drastically and the garbage produced by family gatherings is too much for the county's trash system to handle.

Ya know? Sometimes ya gotta prioritize things. What's more important -- family and food or clean air and empty landfills, for chrissakes?

Hahaha. And, although China has an extremely large population, it also has hundreds of thousands of square miles of emptiness. But I wouldn't want to live in any part of it .
