Wow I picked up a whopper of a cold/ I have no energy and can barely breathe/ I have all I could do to get from couch to bathroom at 2AM and and 4AM, Glad I have my oxygen concentrator cause my lungs hurt to breathe.. I never should have taken mask off while in Bus

I hope you feel better soon PB and that it is not covid. I dodged covid but this crap is hanging on. Not allergies. Either a bad cold or flu. Better but a long way from feeling ready to whip the world. It has been 7 days today.

I know two other people that have had the same symptoms that lasted about a week but no real diagnosis as to what it is that makes people feel so miserable for so long. Not like any other cold I have ever had. The changeable weather has made a lot of people sick. One other person I know also had it turn into a pretty nasty sinus infection. They gave me a 10 day regimen of a strong antibiotic.
At our age we need to get on top of such things quickly.
Get a head start on it PB. Get some cold and flu medication, throat lozenges such as Cepacol. I have been taking Walgreen's Severe Cold and Flu capsules. The pack with day caps and night time caps. I also have been taking Zicam. I don't know about up there in NY, but here there have been a lot of flu cases in recent days.

Hey PB, a trip to your Dr. may be in order. Shortness of breath is no laughing matter. Have you self tested for Covid?

Got up from couch at 2 PM. I going bach now at 4PM.Oh but I am too week to walk down the stares even walking around apartment I have to ne careful. I will wait till monday just what I need handing over morne money to the Doctor. I also just finished my cough syrup so this will be fun. What has that stuff got so expensive

Are you feeling any better PB? Did you test for Covid yet? My 52yr old son has covid. He was with his half brother, his wife and toddler over the weekend and had the toddler sitting on his lap and cuddling with him throughout the day. The little guy just loves his uncle Rick. Monday both the brother and the toddler tested positive for covid. The next day so did Rick. So far nothing terribly alarming but he says he feels really rotten and all he wants to do is sleep.
At your age PB you really need to be careful. Especially with your compromised respiratory system. I hope you are on the road to recovery and feeling better today.
Update: I just talked to my son. Day five and he has turned the corner and feels much better today other than extreme fatigue and no energy.

Hope to get doc appointment with someone on Monday. I am sure I have pneumonia again. Spitting up blood with bad cough and much congestion then there is is exhaustive thing I am tired typing...

Wow I woke up at 9AM feeling better and now it is 11AM and I feel much better. My lungs still feel a little congested and I am coughing up much mucus but not like before. I think my fever broke I would take my temp but my thermometer did not move with me for some reason.

I have a telehealth phone call appointment coming up at 4"14 PM today. With my symptoms they will NOT let me in the building. Hope this does not cost to much but a least my deductible with SS is paid for all $233 which is ridiculous.

Well as I thought COVID with pneumonia. Doctor is sending script to Walmart North Utica plus she increased my oxygen to level 4 on my oxygen concentrator marching. Only goes to 5. LOL I have to have xray tomorrow in radiology she said instructions will allow me to enter building for that place only and do not wonder headways. .I hope the spitting up blood stops and temp drops she will recall Thursday afternoon. If I do not improve fast she said I have to go to hospital. Hope that doesn't happen cause I hate to think what the cost will be.

Do they deliver? How do they diagnose Covid via TeleMed? Just curious. |
