I had to look under the motor home and make sure the gas wasn't running on the ground. I needed just a little under 1/2 tank to top it off. (it has a 50 gallon tank) Well, I could have gone shopping while it filled, haha. $64.85 later it finally clicked off. When we bought it there was 3/4 of a tank, and it had sat for over a year. I put a couple of bottles of drygas in it, and filled it. It performed much better and had much more pep on the way home. Made reservations at the KOA on the Nolichucky river for the 19 through the 22 of July. That will give us 6 days to recover and catch up the laundry and such from our NY trip before we leave for the camping trip. My sister and brother in-law are going to be on the site right next door to us. Looking forward to some good fishing. The river has Bass, Trout, and several other varieties of fish, and there is a pond adjacent to the campsite that is stocked with bass, panfish and catfish. I guess it is not all that bad. We only got 10 or 11 mpg pulling the trailer with the truck. Just that the 50 gallon tank makes 1/2 tank a major investment, haha.

Wow yes those campers are expensive to operate. Gas is around $3.4 or $3.15 per gal unless you are a member then 5 or 10 cents off. I guess one has to be a member of every gas station or else drive extra to get to the place you joined. Often wondered what it took to be a member so as to get reduced gas. My sister and brother in law had various campers throughout the years. Started with a pop up then graduated into one of the 20 foot trailers then upped it to a 32 foot camper that I liked. Finally they had enough and bought a real nice camp around Lake Delta area. Place is huge. If I had to do it I would go for a 32 foot cabin cruiser boat. Like this: A retired priest has one of many years it is fantastic. His father was a Judge so I guess he had help...
