We wanted for Kathy to be fully vaccinated before we come North on vacation. I just pray that she doesn't have any significant reactions.
Gonna get hot here later. It was 70 when I got up and it is going to the high eighties later and may even hit 90. I won't be working in the garden today. Gotta save my strength for bowling tonight. ")

I didn't realize how warm it was going to get today and put on jeans. I may have to get some shorts out of storage.

Hopefully Kathy will fare well with the vaccine. Anyone I've known got over any reaction within 24 hours. Which one is she getting?
Warm & sunny here temps in the 80's. Doing yard work clearing a patch out back about 8 ft. X 20 overgrown with weeds, vines, shrubs & an old wire fence all rusted to hell which I had to cut out using my angle grinder. The guy behind me a couple years ago put up a new stockade fence leaving the area I described instead of putting the fence on the property line. Gee, I wonder why. I got tired of looking at that eyesore & decided to take care of it. With a neighbor like that who needs enemies.

I have a similar neighbor. He put up a split rail fence about 2 feet from my stockade fence. Not room enough to swing a weed eater between the fences. Can't see it from my yard so I guess if he doesn't like the grass that grows between the fences it is his problem to address.
She got the Pfizer vaccine. No reactions so far.

We stopped for lunch after she got her vaccination and when I got back into the truck the reading on the dash cluster was 109. When we drove a ways it dropped to the actual outside temperature of 84. We are bowling in a little tournament tonight so I am laying low and resting in air conditioned comfort until then. No gardening today. How hot has it actually gotten up there today. Utica has been having temperature equal to, or higher than we have been having on several occasions this spring. |

Our outdoor thermometer right now reads 89. Tomorrow it's supposed to be about the same, then cooler for the weekend. Tomorrow, I'll be out early to hose down the weeds, etc with some brush killer to knock them down. Let it work for 3-4 days, rake it out & be done with it. That metal fence really did a job on me. Now I know what a pincushion feels like. Lol Good thing my tetanus vacc. is up to date.
