Welcome Atticus to the forum. You have an unusual name. It almost sounds kind of Southern, well, you know, kind of To Kill a Mockingbird ish. Have you read that novel...why, fiddle dee dee, it's one of my favorites.

Brought in all the herbs and baskets last night. Still frosty this morning, but very bright and sunny.

I usually plant the garden the third weekend in May. Even though this year I'm going with a few plants in containers I may wait another few days. I bought plants today & tomorrow nite they're predicting another frost. The plants will go in the garage.

It is chilly here today also. When I went out to run errands earlier it was only 41 degrees. Brrr. I went back in the hose and put on an insulated long sleeve undershirt under my flannel shirt.

More frost tonight so cover up! Then we get some warmer weather for a walk in the parks, Billions of Brood X cicadas that look like this will be emerging from the ground in 15 U.S. states in May and June of 2021, and making a lot of noise. Get ready 2021 cicadas: 13 facts about the Brood X cicada invasion, maps, when they will emerge I do remember their sounds while in another state. Beautiful I think....

They'll all freeze to death around here. If they're smart they'll go back underground for another 17 years.

Today, I ran the truck thru the carwash, drove it home & into the garage & waxed about half of it. I wore a thermal & a flannel shirt. Here in mid May. I ran out of wax so I put the rest off till tomorrow. I parked the truck in the driveway & sure enough a half hour later it rained. Which means I'll have to wipe the other half off to remove the water spots to finish the job. Why me, Lord? Lol
