The attacks on Asians are becoming as frequent as those attacks focused on Hispanics and Blacks. The recent attacks on Asians by the sick puppy that shot all those massage and spa workers the other day is just one widely reported case of the violence against those of Asian or oriental descent. I have read in recent weeks of oriental folks being randomly attacked and assaulted in some of the major cities, and much of the reports attribute it to the misguided and stupid idiots that are blame them for supposedly bringing the viral pandemic to the US. Truth be known, whether the first US cases were brought into the country directly from China is unknown and may have been brought here from Europe. At any rate, the likelihood of one of the Chinese citizens already living here having been to China and brought it back is very remote. I just will never understand how so many people hold such ill feelings for fellow Americans or citizens of ANY country. It is not just a one way street either. There are a good many others of varied ethnicities that are deeply racist, prejudiced, and dangerously full of hate for others as well. God help them if they affect my ability to get my Chinese take-out from the young couple that has the restaurant down the road. I will personally go out and hunt them down vigilante style,   |

I just do not understand why we can't all get along. I don't mean being buddy buddies to each other but friendly. Doesn't take much energy. I made friends with a few elderly black guys who were apprehensive at first when I talked and joked around with them but now it is amazing we are friends who care about each other. Taking a Bus I meet may types of people some a little odd. I did make friends with a guy who is developmentally disabled who I just started talking with 10 years ago while waiting for a Bus downtown in the winter on a corner on Genesee St with snow up over our boots. We have had coffee together at McD's he has a soda can't drink coffee and now since this COVID thing with all the distancing his social worker brings him to Walmart for shopping or the Mall., It is amazing but he seems to be in the same place I am and we always stop to say hello and joke around. His social worker can't get over it how we get along so well. Brian is a good dude. He had anger issue's when he was 7 years old and his parents way back then couldn't take care of him so long story short they placed him the Utica Psychiatric Center until he was old enough to leave. He told me he was there for 14 years. Imagine that! Also when he got angry they would inject him with 1000 mg of Thorizine which put him to sleep till the next day. That continued for many years. What a shame., He is a bright guy at 58 years old now. Totally independent and lives by himself at Candlewick Apartments with supportive services. To think he lived in group homes from 21 till he was in his 40's. He would tell me how he hated that and could not wait till he could be independent and free. Buy he is now and he loves it. He also worked at the various shop houses which I think are crazy I don't know why they can't get a minimum wage like everyone else rather than being paid by the amount of work the do in a daily shift. He told me once how he had to insert a flyer in a piece of mail. He did 1000 pieces of mail that one day. I thing they are sweat houses for developmentally disabled!

We had quite a few developmentally disabled folks working nights at the OD. They did the inserting of the flyers into the paper. The OD had a carousel like machine to insert the flyers. There was a station where the actual newspapers came from the press room by conveyor to the "merry go round" as we called it. There were multiple stations around the circumference where they would place the pallets of individual flyers and the stations were manned by people who kept the insert machine loaded with their particular flyer and the flyer would be mechanically inserted by the machine. When the paper had made it's complete trip around the carousel it went by overhead conveyor to the machine that counted and bundled the papers before they went to the loading dock to go out the door for distribution. The social workers for those folks were called job coaches and they would come by to see how their client was doing on the job periodically.

Gee I thought BLM, defunding the Police along with Police reform plus with tearing down our statues that offend some but not all rather than learn for the difference helped. Also placing strong restrictions on gun ownership and legalizing weed all help to end racism.

He didn't like the head games everyone played plus all the drama each day. I am glad he retired and he does not let anyone including his worker to get the better of him. Guy has a sharp mind for detail and money management. |

Artificial race wars created by politicians, 90% of the media, George Soros, etc. Marching, like lemmings, down the same path as Venezuela, Cuba, etc. towards socialism. Flood our country with illegal aliens. Key city, state and national gov't positions controlled, to prevent any meaningful opposition or fair elections.

Pizza: have you thought that perhaps the guy in the apt above you whose supposedly using meth is perhaps just trying to "relax his mind?" Like it or not, certain types of weed are quite potent and all of these narcotics exhist on the same spectrum for the same purpose, at a certain point the "simple weed smoker" is the same as the "crackhead upstairs." Sorry, but you can't have it both ways. The second aspect is: we can't be racist if "were all stoned? ie: are minds are relaxed?" That's highly unlikely. and quite improbable.

And I'm not defending MS-13 or any violent groups but intel experts have named Proud Boys & other right wing hate groups as a clear threat to our national security. |

I've known quite a weed smokers in my day & I'd say 90% of them also used other narcotics. Well, I don't watch Fox who parroted the same lies that Trump, Guiliani & a slew of his lawyers did as far as the election goes. And I wasen't quoting news sources as far as intel on right wing hate groups. Those conclusions were reached by the FBI, NSA, & other government agencies. |
