Trump signed the Bill and I am pissed. What happened to the Art of the Deal. He should have held out for the $2000 stimulus. OMG I must email the White House as mention my strong disapproval at this signing. Trump didn't hold out for the $2k because the whole thing was nothing but a scam & a ploy for him to get attention. The idea that Trump wanted to give citizens $2000 wss the biggest bullshit story he ever came up with, & he's an expert at conning people. Twenty four days to go. |

Latest information is the $600 will be amended to $2000 for his signing of this bill on Monday on a special Congress session. Hopefully the Senate will go along with this or Trump must do something in retaliation. The Dems are supposed to pass a bill in the senate approving the $2000. It will go nowhere because Mitch McConell won't allow it to go anywhere. And Trump will sit back & do nothing because he doesn't give a shit one way or the other. He's leaving & there's nothing in it for him. Sorry PB, but forget about $2k. And guess what? They're worried about the defecit after Trump's tax cut to millionaires & corporations which cost the treasury over $2 trillion dollars. |

That is true, he Has Been invincible, but that is coming to a screaming halt soon, at approx 12:01 Pm on 1/20/21 the Games will begin. Lawyers are already salivating. And one minute after the rest of the world will start to suffer. Its not going to be better but worse. Just you wait. |

Not nice or kind photos to post, and quite raciest with your use of black eubonics. Pizzaballa, I have been reading your posts and enjoyed them. I never expected this from you. If you look closely at this photo she appears to be giving herself an insulin injection. Now, all types of people receive food stamps. I receive them. Why don't you take down this photo of a large black woman and put my picture up there? I'll send you a photo if you want it. No, wait, I'll post it here myself. I recieve food stamps and I am skinny , old and white. How about that?  When I was growing up my family was on food stamps more then once. It's no picnic & it's no joke seeing your Mom pay for food using them. That's why I never begrudge anyone who is there, bucause growing up, I was. Right now, there are perhaps millions of people who have worked all their lives & are finding themselves now standing in food lines, & now will wait for $600. Trump is in Florida golfing, Pence in Vail skiing & Mnuchin is in Cabo San Lucas as the Country burns to the ground. That's leadership in 2020. This disaster is on the Republicans, & they can spin it anyone they want to. |

I don't often moderate or censor anything but I agree that the photos were offensive and tinged with racism. I deleted them. I agree that our stimulus funding should take care of Americans first, and especially our nation's farmers, but the photos were unnecessary.
In my opinion our own poor, homeless, and unemployed should be getting the major portion of the funds appropriated. $2000 would certainly help a lot more with rent, food, and utility bills than $600, and instead of funding for unrelated items such as museums, and things unrelated to the pandemic, that money should be allocated to helping small businesses stay open and viable.
