I can't believe that Antifa had the balls to march in Sturgis with 250,000 bikers in the streets. I guess what they saw as courage and brevity turned out to be sheer stupidity. They march against the police and yet it was police and police only that literally saved their asses from meeting a world class ass beating. I guess there is no vaccine for stupidity. The police should have been out to lunch. The response would have been slow enough to allow for a few little red neck psychology lessons for the so called anti-fascism protesters who have actually BECOME the problem rather than a solution. Watch the video. It is a miracle that the police were able to protect them from a major confrontation. Kudos to the bikers for keeping it peaceful and violence free. It is obvious which of the two demographics respects our country and our police. Gotta love it when the leader of the pack is led away in cuffs with the sun glinting off his ridiculous looking purple hair. Yep, a real manly man.

Our Country is falling apart. I hate to think what will happen if Trump is re-elected. I seriously think we will have Civil War with many people hurt and killed.

The people who attended that rally who are tough guys should be forced to pay their own medical bills when they get the virus & held civilly liable for spreading Covid all over this damn Country just so they can hold a goddam bike rally. I wonder how peaceful the bikers would have been if the cops went after the Hells Angels. All hell would have broke loose.

I agree with the fact that the rally should never have been held, but I would certainly hope that you would not support what Antifa and the BLM agenda has come to be. At least the bikers for whatever one may think of their decision to attend the rally, are patriotic Americans for the most part.
I do think that holding the rally will certainly bring about a spike in cases of Covid19 when those people return to their homes after the rally. Sad indeed. I have never been one to see any good to come from a week of drinking, smoking dope, and riding around with a gal on back of the bike with body paint on her bare chest. I rode for years but I was never tempted to attend any rallies such as that. We rode with a group from our church and with a group of veterans from the VFW.

PB- You know in your heart, that Trump will be re-elected, so, deal with it, and, plan your life accordingly. BHU- You are correct. In consideration of the virus, the rally should have been cancelled for this year, as well as the BLM marches, and, the Antifa socialists' rampages.

I never owned a bike bit always wanted one. I came close to taking the plunge a few years ago but when a coworker of mine almost got killed twice riding his HD, I backed off. He spent a month in the hospital the last time & ended up giving up riding. I went to see him a couple months ago & he still misses riding but he ca n't because his legs are shot from all the metal they used to put them back together.

I used to ride back and forth to work at Griffiss. I had a Honda Gold Wing. I quit when I had two or three close calls with cars that pulled out in front of me, or turned in front of me to turn into a driveway or parking lot. The final straw was when I was doing about 45 or 50 on Turin Road in Lee and an old lady stopped at a stop sign, looked directly at me, and pulled out in front of me. The only thing that saved my ass was swerving into a gas station parking lot at 45 mph. I put the bike up for sale and sold it with an ad in the base newspaper, the Mohawk Flyer. Spent the money on a nice fishing boat motor and trailer.
The ex-wife and I decided to ride the bike down here to see my parents once. Stayed here with them for a couple days, stayed in Gatlinburg for 2 night, and then spent two days and nights in Nashville before heading to Ohio to see her grandmother and then home to NY. When we got to Nashville we were both half crippled. By the time we got to Ohio we could hardly get on and off the bike. When we finally got home to NY we both ended up with a few visits to our chiropractor. We enjoyed several weekend trips but that long adventure left me wondering how anyone could routinely do Daytona, Sturgis, or Myrtle beach from NY on a motorcycle. By the time we left Gatlinburg with 800 miles under our belt it was not much fun. From Nashville to Ohio and back home were nothing short of torture.
