With this bulky red dressing the size of a knockwurst on my pinky keyboarding is difficult. Trying to hit the A or the Q usually ends up hitting the caps lock at the same time.
I find it easier and faster to use the touch pad keyboard on my IPad for now. It’s going to be a long week or two while the finger heals and closes enough to eliminate the splint and bulky wrapping. Every thing from eating to showering or washing my hands is cumbersome and inconvenient. I almost wish they had stitched it. I probably would have had more use of the finger and a smaller dressing.
