Great material. I stole a couple and retouched them slightly. Here's "Delta Lake: After Bobbiez refused to feed Frank."And here's "Dave stops by to chat with his grooming coach."

By the way, where the heck did the name Green Lantern supposedly come from? I barely remember it, but is that the name of the character?

Some of these guys were characters. They were all hard working. One of our local heroes down here is Joe Sinnott, who inked for Marvel and did the Fantastic Four stuff. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_SinnottWiki says he still does the Spiderman Sunday strip.

Hey Dave, I know Joe. We had him and his wife in Utica back in 1996 at a comic book convention held at the Radisson. Yes, Joe was Stan Lee's artist on the Spider-Man strip featured around the country in newspapers(of class). lol
He's also a huge baseball fan! You can find him at Cooperstown every time there is something going on. He's a gentleman.

Yes, I've met him and, although I can't think of who it is at the moment, an acquaintance is married to one of his kids.

So the general assumption with comic books and old paper items is that they are priceless. That isn't the case. What happened to the hobbies of stamp & coin collecting has happened to comic books.
