Wilum, I've been a ham for 47 years and I don't regularly copy 20 wpm, although I think I could (and probably do) on good days. I'm a general class and that's all I care about. I seldom transmit voice on shortwave so I don't care about the extra frequencies for it. I use mostly cw and the 25 KHz. portion reserved for Extra Class is always empty of other hams, except during contests, and I don't often participate in them. To tell the truth, I'm resentful toward the ARRL for "incentive licensing" whereby I lost a lot of frequencies years ago. Did you keep your license active? Can you still get on the air? There's a grace period after it expires, by the way.

Jeez Wilum, I just was reading back on the previous posts. What have you got against "Verbal Methane?" We are just trying to be a "green site" and conserve petroleum.

All, Still looking for a local source but found this this afternoon: www.dynamic-saw-blade-sharpening.com/index.htmlSent them an Email, see what they say tomorrow. I also have a HSS Craftsman Dado set I like using on soft woods and MDF instead of my carbide set. I wanted to see if they could do them too.

Haha. I will leave it to you two soon. I have to grab a shower, and a bite to eat.
I was impressed with the site for the sharpening service in Buffalo Wilum. Makes Foley Belsaw sound about as precision as a vise and a rat tail file, haha. I guess I was lucky with the blade I modified the tooth set on. I will send the next one out. My saw blades range in cost from the usual Home Depot variety for my chop saw and miter saw, to blades that I have paid up to30 and 40 dollars for at the Woodworkers warehouse. I have one of my grandpa's old dado sets that cuts up to 3/4" dadoes, and a cheap single blade adjustable dado from sears that I paid about $30 for a few years back.
You guys have a good evening. I have to get cleaned up and grab a sandwich or something. I haven't had anything to eat yet today other than toast for breakfast this morning.
If y'all are still on later, I will be back in an hour or so. Glad you are having fun with the new section. I love it too, so far.
