There is something wrong with minivans which causes the drivers to lose their minds because I have yet to see a driver of one who has any idea what they're doing behing the wheel. It's uncanny.

I agree BHU, although I used to carry and insulin syringe in my tackle box to inflate a live nightcrawler with to make it float. My god, if I were to be caught with a syringe in my tackle box now, I would be charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. LOL. And you'd probably get 6 months as a guest of the local sheriff. What a world we live in.

Is WUTR's coverage better than WKTV's? I used to like their reporting and news staff better than WKTV, but that was 20 yrs ago. I would watch one channel at 6 and then catch the 11 o'clock news on the other station. Our evening news here starts at 5 and goes until 6:30 followed by the national news from 6:30 to 7pm. WUTR's team is much more professional. That Callahan girl on WKTV has to go. Also WKTV has so many problems with the engineering behind the news programming. Many time they end a story or go to commercial and ya have to stare at a black screen a few minutes waiting for them to occur. Also some weather people go overboard tell us how we are dress the next day or carry an umbrella or put on different types of coats or now we get the scraping the windshield part with how many minutes of extra work you will be doing in the morning. Next they will tell us what time to get up.

One thing I always disliked about WKTV was that many of the news items they carried came with a promise to update as details became available. Seldom did I see any further updates. I suspect that in many of those cases the reporter simply didn't follow up.

I suspect that in many of those cases the reporter simply didn't follow up. it is not a problem unique to Channel 2. We see that same thing here quite often also. I see something on the noon news, they say they will have an update at 6, and at 6 there is not even mention of the item reported at noon much less and update or expanded report.
